One day we decided to take a few hours and head to Rocky Mountain National Park. We took a picnic lunch and went on a short hike. It wasn't long before the rain started and we had to make a mad dash back to the car for cover.
My friend Tara and I have been taking the kids to drop-in gymnastics the last couple weeks. It's an hour-long session of "playing" in the gymnastics room. There are trampolines, bars, balance beams, and a bouncy house.
The class is designed for kids under 5. My original intention was to get Kaitlin some social interaction, but Zoey seems to be getting just as much out of it. Its so cute to see her walking around pretending to be a "big" kid. ;)
On Aug 22nd, Brandon turned 32. To celebrate we took the girls to a picnic hosted by our credit union. Besides free food they had face painting, balloon animals and a bouncy castle. The weather cooperated and we had a fun time.
Brandon and the girls had a great weekend playing with all the new toys Brandon got for his birthday! The girls love chasing the remote control truck and his new Wii game - Guitar Hero is fantastic! Happy Birthday, Brandon! :)
And a few more pics i couldn't resist posting! ;)
